*The Maskandi Yearbook is a way of honouring and preserving the history of Maskandi. It is not an award and not a competition, but a cultural record created today and safeguarded for the future. Each year, one artist is selected for a deep cultural honour, where their story, music, upbringing, and way of life are carefully documented, preserved, and published with intention, respect, and care. This work is never rushed or disrupted and is revealed only when it is complete.
